We have been busy around here. Charlie is officially 2Months old. It is amazing how fast the time goes by. Here are some of the things we have been up too.
We took Charlie on a walk around the reservoir
He loved looking at the clouds and tree limbs. We had to feed him on the side of the trail and then he did a #2. It was fun changing him in the stroller and then he decided to pee all over. What an adventure.
Just hanging with Mom at home.
He loves his Lamby and Blue Bear
This is his travel bed he loves to play in here
Tummy time, he hates it!
Of course Mommy gets lots of kisses!
This boy is so much fun we love him so!

ESPN
We took Charlie on his first tour of ESPN while Mike's parents were here visiting. Everyone thought he was so cute, especially because of his "Future Producer" onesie. Thanks to Jessica for making it for our little guy. We went into the studio of SportsCenter while they were doing the show. They filmed charlie to be a part of the show for what they call the "organic bump" where they show behind the scenes things that are going on. Unfortunately they did not have enough time to air it. Charlie was a star for about 2 seconds in it. We had a great time. Next time maybe charlie will be able to sit in the anchor chair and do a segment for them!

8:04 p.m.

Quick RecapOn February 25th at 8:00 p.m. I was getting ready for bed. I brushed my teeth, took my pre-natal vitamin and then went to use the bathroom. Something was not right. I came down the stairs and Mike was writing his show report for work. I said to him, I don't think you will be going to work tomorrow. He said why. I explained that I thought my water had just broke. I called the dr. and they told me to go to the hospital just to check things out. In triage they confirmed that I had broke my water and admitted me into a delivery room. I walked the hallways for a little while, paced in the room, used the bathroom a-lot, sat in the rocking chair. My labor was not progressing as quickly as they would have liked, so they started me on pitocin. The the pains really began. I was dilated to a 4 and asked for an epidural. The best decision of my life! It was a little painful getting the epidural but the outcome was well worth it. I was relaxed, slept a bit, and did not feel a thing. I could still move my legs even though they felt numb to the touch. Finally I was dilated to a 10 and it was time to start pushing. I pushed for 2 hours and finally on Feb. 26th at 8:04 p.m. our little Charlie made his debut. I was in labor for 20 hours. I am so glad that our little guy is here. We are now at home and spending every waking moment taking care of him. We are learning so much in this first week. What a joy he is. We love him so much and are so excited that we are the ones to watch him grow.

Enchiladas
My parents sent us two of my favorite Mexican items:
Corn Tortillas
Herdez Salsa
That means that it is time to make enchiladas. Yum!
First you have to fry the corn tortillas to make them soft.
This can be very time consuming and hard on the old pregnant feet.
So I had mike grab me a stool so I could be just a little more comfortable while cooking.
He grabbed the camera and took a few pictures.
So funny looking. But it worked out well.
